Tandoori Bites is a peerless Indian food experience anywhere in the country. From the moment you walk in the restaurant, you know that you are in for an authentic, exotic culinary adventure that you will remember and tell your friends about. Every aspect of this restaurant exceeds whatever expectation. The outstanding service, and an ambiance that makes you feel as if you just landed in Mumbai is only exceeded by the authenticity of the best Indian cuisine I have ever had in the United States. This unassuming restaurant is certainly a 5 STAR restaurant that will have you coming back - SOON
Loved my Chicken Tikka Masala, can't wait to go back. I grabbed mine togo, but loved the interior, definitely would have never know that once upon a time this was a Wendys then a short lived Biker Bar.Buffet EVERYDAY which I find incredible. I hope Tandoori is here to stay.
Had an awesome dinner this weekend at Tandoori...we hosted a four-top and simply asked the waiter to "have some fun" with a family-style meal for our group. Classic platters of mouth-watering tandoori chicken, lamb curry, goat vindaloo (cubed meat marinated in vinegar and potatoes with spicy gravy) and shrimp tikka masala. Tack on two bottles of $22 pinot, two baskets of nan and a couple mango tassi dessert drinks set the four of us back $140.00, with two well-packed take-home boxes in tow. Friends were blown away by the meal. Always a thumbs'up!
First impressions to last -great place! Attractive, comfortable interior with quiet intimate seating. Excellent service. Menu offers a varied selection of Indian and, specifically, tandoori dishes. Everything was well presented, fresh and absolutely excellent! Nice selection of beer and wines. Greatest compliment: we two 60 plus "kids" ate way too much of everything and experienced no digestive issues! You must try the okra! Excellent!
Greatly enjoyed the lunch buffet. It was a great value and extremely fresh. I will be going back.
I've only been once, but will be going back regularly. Not the pinnacle of Indian food or Indian buffet, but very good and very reasonably priced. And I'm thrilled to have it in Wilmington and not far out of my way!
We were so pleasantly surprised by this place. It's much nicer inside than we expected, had a large menu and was delicious. We will definitely be going back.
Curry chicken is the best I've ever had! Service was great.
Some of the best Indian food I have had. the chicken curry was great, not too spicy. Definitely get the bread basket with you meal.
All I have to say is when the chef is wearing a turban, the Indian food has got to be good! And it was!! A great ambiance, and fabulous service! It's amazing how different it looks from the inside! (by the way the outside of the building looks it was once a Wendys!) I really loved it and anyone who likes Indian food should too!
Food was excellent- Tika masala and Vindaloo was the best since being in New York or London. Friendly staff, very courteous and knowledgeable. Raita a little thin compared to previous, but delicious. Nan adn papadum were great, onions, curry-- recommend highly.
Wow! First timer but will DEFINITELY be back. Superb service. Outstanding food. Reasonalbly priced. U have to check this place out. Don't be intimidated by an unfamiliar menu. Go during lunch and try the buffet then u can try different things and see what u like! Had dinner. Lovely atmosphere-relaxing mood. Thumbs up!
Fantastic service and food- nice interior and pleasant staff. Would come here again for sure- will try the buffet at lunch next time.
Giving this the 2nd round and it's still great and good.Still love the bread basket. Goes good with any of the meals.
The food is fantastic, not a bad bite on the buffet!
I tried Tandoori Bites last week with some friends. I have never been a fan of Indian food until I had their Chicken Tikka Masala. It was delicious! Perfectly spiced for me. I also recommend starting with Garlic Naan. I am looking forward to going back to try the Lamb Masala. Very friendly staff. Give it a try!
